In order to write this book, we felt like it was critical that we talk to moms all over the United States doing all different types of work at all different points in their careers, working as solopreneurs all the way to moms working for major corporations. I mean, Suzanne and I know how we ended up working a flexible, less-than-full-time schedule, but we knew there are probably thousands of other ways to do it. So we decided to talk to at least 100 moms who work part time and hear more stories.

Fast forward more than two years and we’ve talked to 62 moms from across the country. The conversations are fascinating and, naturally, everyone has their own unique take – we are learning something (and sometimes many things) from literally every mom we talk to. But it takes time to find these moms and to schedule and complete these calls. Since we’re learning so much by talking to each mom, we really don’t want to start drafting the book until we get a better idea of similarities, differences, and overall trends on advice, insights, and challenges.

We’d like to get these interviews completed soon! This is where you come in! Do you know moms who are working part-time that could spend 30 – 40 minutes talking to us? Let us know if you know someone we should talk to! Tell your friends about our project to help spread the word! And please let us know if you’d like to be interviewed!
