Do you always get what you want from your significant other and family? I didn’t for years. So I changed things. Several years ago I started giving my husband ideas on what I want as a gift. Whether it’s my birthday or a special holiday, I’ll share a few things I’m excited about. No, not hints. He wants links. And I decided to create a gift guide to give ideas for gifts for working moms. Not enough guides are for moms out there. So, if you want a gift or are giving a gift to a working mom, this gift guide is for you. And you’ve got 4 different gift guides to help you find the perfect guide for the working mom in your life, depending on the type of mom you’re buying for.

Each guide includes some higher-end items, items in the mid-range, and stocking stuffers that are generally $15 or less. That way there are different price points, based on your budget and needs.

Most of these items are ones I use and love or they were suggested by someone I trust. For the tech guide, I relied on my husband’s expertise since he’s the techy one in our house. A few are ones I wished I had, especially for the new working mama edition. For each suggestion (e.g., smartwatch), I did some research on top brands/models/makes in a few places, so I’m not giving you something that sounds good but is a waste of money. That way I was OK with including items that were suggested to me without my using them. And I made sure a brand didn’t have terrible reviews or went against my general mission/business approach. Let’s support brands with good business practices.

I give you links to items, so they are things you can put in a box and wrap. I suggest some services in a few places too, so keep that in mind. And I suggest a few services you can look for in your local area.

It goes without saying that either of the Mompowerment books might be a perfect gift. So many working moms are struggling with creating their version of work-life balance, especially during the pandemic. These award-winning books help the working mama in your life take action and feel more confident and less stressed. You can get your copy of The Mompowerment Guide to Work-life Balance on Amazon (teal book) to help working moms with general work-life balance. It’s loaded with practical tips. Or there is also Mompowerment (red book) on Amazon to help with the successful transition to a professional part-time role. And, if you’re looking for other books, feel free to check out my list of Top 10 Books for Working Moms.

I’ll also give you a big hint here. It’s OK to buy the same product for multiple mamas, as long as you think it’s helpful to them. If there has been a moment to simplify and buy multiples of one thing you find that you love, this is it! (I talk a whole lot more about simplifying this holiday season in the final newsletter of the year that goes out tomorrow, so it’s not too late to sign up below.)

And, finally, know that for many items listed, I’m using affiliate links. I mention this on each guide as well. You don’t pay more, but I do make a little bit of money if you use the links I provide when you purchase.

What are you gifting the Mompowerment mama in your life? If you’re a working mom who has received an amazing gift in the past, what was it?
